How to swaddle a newborn with a receiving blanket:

• Step 1: Lay the blanket out in a diamond shape, fold down the top corner slightly, and place the baby on their back with their shoulders just below the fold.

• Step 2: Straighten the baby’s right arm slightly, take the right side of the blanket, fold it firmly over their chest, and tuck it securely under their left side and back.

• Step 3: Fold up the bottom corner of the blanket over the baby’s feet, bringing it up toward their chest and tucking the edge into the top of the swaddle.

• Step 4: Bring the left side of the blanket across the baby’s chest, wrapping it snugly around their body, and tuck the remaining corner securely under their back to complete the swaddle.
